City Hall houses the City Clerk’s Office, the Police Department, the Building Department, Planning & Zoning Department, and Council Chambers.
Hours 8 A.M. – 4 P.M. Monday through Friday
City Hall is closed on the following holidays:*
- New Years Day
- MLK/Human Rights Day
- President’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veteran’s Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
*If the holiday falls on a Saturday, City Hall will be closed on the preceding Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, City Hall will be closed on the following Monday.
Some of the things you can do at the City Clerk’s Office: Purchase Dog Licenses-due April 15th of each year. Pay your monthly Sanitation and Sewer Maintenance fees. Purchase annual liquor, beer & wine licenses, catering permits, Itinerant Merchant Permits and activity requests for events on city property including parks and roads. You can also make Greenwood Cemetery arrangements.
