The City of Kellogg runs the garbage service within the city. City Ordinance # 334 states in part "all occupied premises....within the City of Kellogg shall be required to subscribe to and make use of the garbage and refuse collection" it also states that owners of said residences are responsible for payment of Sanitation pickup.

The charge for basic residential garbage pickup is $11.00 per month for one (1) sixty-four gallon can picked up once a week. The garbage must be in cans that are provided by the City. Anything extra will be charged out at $.50 per sack and $1 per can.  You will be billed once a month for this service -on the first of the month after you have used the service. If your Sanitation bill is not paid by noon on the last business day of the month penalty charges will apply.

We also have roll-off dumpsters available for rental. Please call City Hall for current rates.
