This section will introduce you to the people who head the Departments of the City of Kellogg and tell you what they do and how to get in touch with them if you have any questions.

 

David Wuolle - Police Department

David Wuolle has served as Chief of Police for the City of Kellogg since 2005. Chief Wuolle previously served as a Sergeant at the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office and later as Chief of Police in the City of Smelterville. He oversees a Police Department consisting of six officers and a secretary. He is responsible for all law enforcement issues within the City of Kellogg and in the neighboring City of Wardner.

Craig Lewis - Superintendent of Public Works

Craig was appointed to the Superintendent of Public Works position in June of 2008. Craig's oversees the City employees who maintain our streets, sewer collection system, parks & recreation (including our public swimming pool), sanitation and the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mark Magnus - Building Department

Mark Magnus is the Building Official for the City of Kellogg. Mark serves as the County Building Inspector and enforces  all building & sign regulations in the city. He also serves as the Flood Plain Coordinator for the city.

Nila Jurkovich - City Clerk/Treasurer

Nila is the City Clerk /Treasurer for the City of Kellogg. In 2005 she became a Certified City Clerk for the State of Idaho. At that time she entered the Master Municipal Clerk Academy and in 2007 she attained the first level status of the Academy. After finishing two more levels she attained the title of Master Municipal Clerk in 2009. In April of 2009, she became a Certified Public Finance Administrator. She serves as keeper of the records for the City. She coordinates all activities related to finance, accounting, budgeting, payroll and related financial tasks. She also serves as secretary to the Traffic Safety Committee. In 2008, she was elected President of the Idaho City Clerks, Treasurers and Finance Officers Association and still serves on the Past President's Committee. She also serves a chairperson for the Training and Certification Committee. In September 2013 Nila received the prestigious Dr. James B. Weatherby Award. This Award is given to those who have shown excellence, effectiveness and efficiency in municipal government.

Rod Plank - Project Manager

Rod joined the City Administration team in February of 2017 to oversee the Sewer & Road Rehabilitation project.  Rod was a member the Kellogg City Council from 2013 to 2017. He served as the Chairman of the Public Works committee and was a member of the Personnel, Building & Planning, IT and McKinley Ave committees. Rod served as the Assistant Chief of Police in Kellogg until 2007 and was the Undersheriff for Shoshone County from 2008 until 2017.
